Why Use Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)?
Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is known for its unique healing abilities. When activated, platelets release several growth factors which stimulate healing and growth by activating our own stem cells. From medical studies, PRP is only effective when concentrated to 5-9 times the concentration of blood. That is why Dr. Bhandari insists on FDA approved centrifuges which have been tested to produce this concentration.
Treatment Details
A successful result begins with a thorough understanding of what you would want from the Regenerative Facelift®.
Dr. Bhandari first starts with a consultation so that you are happy with the results.
After your concerns are addressed, Dr. Bhandari will cleanse the skin with a gentle antiseptic.
Then an anesthetic cream is applied and allowed to penetrate the treatment areas while blood is drawn from your arm.
Using an artistic eye, Dr. Bhandari will inject dermal filler in those areas which would benefit most such as the cheeks and lips.
After the lift has been achieved with the filler, careful injection of PRP is placed in those areas which have been affected by aging.
